On Thursday 13th and Friday 14th November the children in the Junior School baked biscuits to raise money for Children in Need. The children in Years 5 and 6 made and baked the biscuits in the morning then in the afternoon all children decorated the biscuits. Donations of £1 per biscuit were made and the children took their biscuits home on Friday.
After school on Friday 135 biscuits were sold outside the school, they were gone within minutes! In total the school has raised over £300 for Children in Need.
We would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Kelly for her baking expertise and to any adults who helped out over the two days. Thank you also to Waitrose for their donation of £20 towards ingredients.
