York Residential Day 2

There were plenty of sleepy children this morning as we awoke early for breakfast. Cereal, toast and scrambled eggs were the perfect start to another busy day.

We walked through the city streets towards the York Castle Museum, where we spent the day being entertained by storytellers as well as exploring the exhibits.

After lunch we visited the Prison and the 1960s zone, while finishing the Victorian Childhood exhibits.

Back at the hotel we ate lasagne and garlic bread for dinner and then caught the coach to the bowling alley.

Slushies were consumed and a great time as the children battled to victory against their friends.

Back at the hotel it was time for bed.
