Pupil Premium Spending Sports Funding Spending
This year the school received £36340 as a result of the pupil premium. As per the school’s policy on pupil premium, this money has been used in five key ways:
 

Teaching Staff wages to run targeted intervention groups for pupils who are making less than Good progress

SEN Welfare wage to ensure that Pupil Premium children are given access to support services when needed.

Taxi fares, to help a pupil premium child attend school every day.

Payment for ACE Club to allow children to attend breakfast club and after school club.

Contributions towards payments for school meals.

Contributions to allow pupil premium children to attend the Kingswood residential

Contributions to allow some pupil premium children to attend a drumming workshop

Contributions to allow certain children to attend swimming club.  

In the year 2013 to 2014 Katherine Semar Junior school was allocated £5532.00 to spend on Sports.

A total of £5279.32 was spent, all of which was to cover wages for coaches for PE lessons and for out of school hours clubs.
